What should I expect at a Christian Science church service?

Sunday Service:

The Bible together with Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy serve as our pastor.  The Lesson Sermon is read by two members who are lay readers.  The Bible Lesson is available in booklet form for guidance during the week.  This study brings spiritual inspiration to our lives as we join together on Sunday to listen and pray together.

Wednesday meetings:

The message for the Wednesday evening meeting brings spiritual insight to current issues in the news and individual lives.  During this service there is time for people to share how prayer has brought comfort, healing, and solutions to their daily experience.

Sunday School and Children’s Room

Young people up to the age of 20 are taught the Scriptures in our Sunday school.  Loving and caring teachers enjoy interacting with students through questions, answers and lively discussions geared to their age level.  Through this teaching they learn the practical application of prayer for their everyday needs.

Children too young for Sunday school, usually under the age of three, are cared for in our children’s room.

Visitors are always welcome!

Reading Room:

After our Sunday and Wednesday services there is time to browse in our Reading Room where the Bible Lesson booklet can be purchased, and where other books, magazines and music CDs as well as the Christian Science Monitor can be perused, enjoyed, or purchased.  Someone will be happy to answer your questions.
